About the Scholarship
Various forms of scholarship are accessible annually for top international students.
The University is on the list of colleges and universities with Hunan Provincial Government Scholarships
for International Students. The provincial scholarship amounts to at most ¥15000 per personper year for
bachelor degree students.The provincial scholarship amounts to atmost ¥20000 per person per year for master
and doctorate degree students.Approximately 10% of the total number ofinternational students achieve this
scholarship.
The University offers scholarship to its outstanding international students, with the amount varying from
¥ 2000 to ¥ 6000 per personper year for bachelor degree students, and ¥20000 per person per year for master
degree students, and ¥30000 per person per year for doctorate degree students.
General scholarshipwill be offered to those who study the new-opened and engineering majors for the first
two years.General scholarshipwill be offered to the MBBS bachelor degree students since September 2017.
Special scholarship will be offered to those who study Chinese-medium programs with Chinese students
together.
Approximately 80% of the total number of international students achieve these scholarships.
